ISLAMABAD: PML-N’s Quaid Nawaz Sharif said billions of rupees fill the pockets of affluent every year, if need felt in the best national interest, he will lead another long march along with revolutionary youth.
He expressed these thoughts while chairing a party reorganization meeting here in Lahore while talking to Sindh representatives, Nawaz Sharif said government is more likely to depend on foreign loans and aids despite utilizing its own resources.
“Government remained failed in implementing 10-point agenda. If they could fulfill it we must have supported them”, said Nawaz Sharif.
CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Ghaus Ali Shah, Imdad Chandio, Siddiq ul Farooq and others accompanied PML-N Quaid in the meeting.
He said he will hold another long march with enthusiastic youth against the country’s deteriorating circumstances so to resolve the masses’ problems. “If government had concentrated more on restructuring the economy and fixing the problems of masses, country never had the need to go for Kerry-Lugar Bill”, he added.
Nawaz Sharif told PML-N suggested the formula to help the flood afectees, but they disposed it. He further said PPP government paid the guard of honor to a dictator who suspended constitution and given the nation gifts of load shedding and selling Pakistanis. PML-N was also asked to endorse the non-constitutional steps of Musharraf, but we let down the offer, Nawaz Sharif said.
