PML-N to expel coalition partner PPP

LAHORE: Muslim League (Nawaz) has decided to expel Pakistan People’s Party from Punjab ruling coalition and has invited the Unification faction of the League to join government, sources said.

PML-N has decided to award two ministries to Ata Maneka and Dr. Tahir Ali Javed of the League’s splinter faction.

The party has also decided to relieve PPP ministers from their portfolios.

A meeting of PML-N, chaired by Nawaz Sharif, has been underway at Raiwind residence of Sharifs for final consultations over the decision. Senator Ishaq Dar, Pervez Rasheed, Chaudhry Nisar and other leaders were attending the meeting. (ARY news)
