LAHORE: In the larger public interest and protection of human lives, Punjab government has decided, after immense deliberation, to continue the ban on ‘Basant’.

According to a spokesman of Punjab government, hundreds of precious lives had been lost in various districts of the province including Lahore due to chemical and dangerous twine while the injured were in thousands.

Keeping in view the same, it has been decided to continue ban on ‘Basant’.
