CAIRO: President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak is to make an address on national television, while Egyptians hope that this will be his last address as a President.

According to BBC a senior member of Egypt’s governing party, Hossan Badrawi, “hopes” Mr Mubarak will transfer power to Vice-President Omar Suleiman.

On the other hand NBC News while quoting two of their sources said that Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak will step down tonight.

Mubarak, will lose his 30-year grip on power after 17 days of mass uprisings across the country, NBC News said.
