PM to Inaugurate Phase II of Parliament Lodges

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani is to inaugurate the phase II of Islamabad Parliament Lodges Wednesday.
As per sources, phase II of the lodges will be constructed on the adjacent plot of the phase I, which will cost Rs. 2.75 billion. Federal government will bear the cost and the project will be completed in two and a half years.
Sources added according to the plan, 104 family suites are to be constructed in the complex for member parliaments which will also include a gymnasium and a mosque.
Am not opposing the construction of lodges but its not the right time for non developing expenditures. We should observe the signs of nature. the whole nation unanimously said that it was not the flood it was something like punishment from Allah.As a nation we should realise our responsibilities regarding re-construction of homes of the homeless people of flood areas.
