Special investigation team for probing Wali Khan murder

KARACHI: A special police investigation team has been formed to probe the murder of Wali Khan Babar, reporter of a private TV channel. The team has been assigned a special task for arresting the killers.

Wali Khan was murdered on Thursday when he was going back to his home from his office.

Talking to media men here on Friday, CCPO Karachi Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari has told that special team has been formed to investigate the killing of Wali Khan which would be headed by DIG West Sultan Ali and includes SSP investigation Zone 2 Javed Meher, supervisory police officer Liaqat Abad town Qaisar Ali Shah and incharge investigation police station Super market Inspector Hatim Murwat

Special task has been assigned to the special investigation unit Karachi, SSP Rao Omar Khattab to trace out the murderers of a private TV channel reporter Wali Khan Babar.

The special investigation team has inspected the vehicle and site of the murder and recovered five shells of 9MM pistols and fingerprints.
