ISLAMABAD: Murderous act of a security guard has created an alarming situation and government decided to review the security of VVIP’s.

As per details, Federal government has directed to reassess the bio-data of the security guards deployed for security of higher officials after the brutal act of assassination of Governor Punjab. In the first segment, securities of VVIP’S including President, Prime Minister, Chief Ministers and Provincial Governors are to be rechecked. And in second part, securities of the ministers and members of the parliament are to be scrutinized.

According to the reliable sources, the attack on Governor Punjab Salman Taseer by elite force guard has created an alarming situation for the security institutions, in due course Interior Ministry has issued a new SOP and directed the IGs to recheck the bio-data of all the security guards securing top officials, no guard should be positioned till full scrutiny.

In addition, extremists among security forces have once again become a question mark for government and military leadership.
