KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari today approved conferment of the civil award of Hilal-i-Imtiaz on renowned journalist, writer, columnist and Editor Abbas Ather in recognition of his services in the field of journalism.

The award will be given at the award conferment ceremony on March 23.
