Case of KU bomb blast registered

Karachi: The case against Tuesday’s bomb blast in Karachi University in which five students were injured has been registered while the security of the University has been beefed up and separate teams of rangers and police have been formed to probe into the matter.

According to details, the case number 631-10 against Tuesday’s bomb blast in Karachi University has been lodged under Explosive Act, here on Wednesday and special teams of rangers and police have been formed to probe into the case. The rangers and police teams would investigate the case under the monitoring of SSP SIU Ummer Khitaab, SSP Gulshan Iqbal, Naeem Shaikh and Commander Sachal.

The university administration decided to suspend the educational activities and examinations schedule to be held on Wednesday have been postponed while administration department remain open.

It is relevant to mention here that the examination in Karachi University has been postponed four times and the students have to face inconvenience due to the situation.

The security of the University has been strengthened while all vehicles would be checked. The rangers are checking the different faculties of the University.
