New transparent system of registration of vehicles introduced

ISLAMABAD: Excise and Taxation Department of Islamabad Capital Territory Administration has introduced a new transparent and quick system of registration of vehicles for the convenience and facilitate of the citizens, visiting Excise and Taxation Department , Islamabad , in connection with registration of their vehicles .

Under the new system , the applicant, from now on, will not require to fill any form himself , rather , he will just have to bring the required documents of vehicles and after scrutiny of the documents , the staff present at the counter , will fill the form on the computer quickly and will take out print , which will be handed over to the applicant who will sign it for further processing of the case by the department.

Director Excise and Taxation Islamabad Dr. Ehtisham Anwar told that the new system which is more transparent , quick and efficient ,will greatly facilitate the citizens especially those who are unable to fill the form themselves.

The introduction of new system is part of reforms which are currently under way in the Excise and Taxation Department Islamabad with a prime objective to provide quality and quick services to the citizens . The new system along with other on-going reforms has also put an end any role of tout mafia once for all.
