‘Ashura’ to be observed with religious respect

ISLAMABAD: ‘Ashura’ martyrdom day of grandson of Muhammad (PBUH), Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) would be observe on Friday in all over the world including Pakistan with religious respect.

As per details, Ashura would be observed today on 10th of Muharram to commemorate martyrdoms of Hazrat Imam Hussain and his comrades while mourning processions and Taziya would be led in this connection. The mourning procession in Karachi would start from Nishtar park Chorangi and would end in Ahsania Irania Imam Bargah Kharadar.

Special supplements would be published in newspapers about sacrifices rendered by Imam Hussain (RA) while Television would telecast special programs and Nohaas in this regard. The religious Ulemas would address to throw light on sacrifices of Karbala martyrs.

Special security arrangements have been made in this regard while police, Elite Force and lady police have been deployed in different areas of federal capital to avoid any untoward situation. The many areas of sector G-6 have been sealed and police check posts have been set up.

Security arrangements in Quetta have also been completed. Balochistan Constabulary and FC would perform duties during Ashura. The central mourning procession would be led from Rehmat Ullah chowk and would pass from mission road Meezan chowk, Liaqat Bazaar, Prince road, Megangi road AND end on Alamdar road. 3800 policemen, 70 platoons of police constabulary, 62 platoons of FC would perform duties.

Special security arrangements have been made in Lahore and 22000 policemen, Pak Force and rangers would perform duties.
