Govt to impose ban on mobile use in offices to control corruption

ISLAMABAD: Federal government has introduced new formula for controlling over increasing corruption and decided to impose ban on use of mobile phones in government offices. Interior Minister Rehman Malik will submit summary at the cabinet meeting to be held on Wednesday.
According to sources, the cabinet meeting to be held in the chairmanship of Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani will review the implementation over decisions of previous meetings relating to Education and Finance Ministries.
Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Hafiz Sheikh and Education Minister Sardar Asif Ahmad Ali will submit reports about their ministries to cabinet. The Prime Minister will inform the cabinet about his recent visit of Turkey. The agreements, which will be signed during Chinese Prime Minister, will be discussed in the cabinet meeting.
According to sources, transferring process of five ministries to the provinces under the 18th Amendment will also be considered but no decision has not yet been taken to invite these ministers in the meeting or not.
The most important point of the meeting agenda is the summary which will be submitted by Rehman Malik in which it will be requested to the cabinet to impose ban on mobile phones in the government offices to control over increasing corruption.
