Interior Ministry, Rehman Malik’s house receive bomb threat

ISLAMABAD: The building of Ministry of Interior and the house of Interior Minister Rehman Malik were thorough searched and declared clear by the security agencies and Bomb Disposal Squad after receiving three threatening calls.

As per details, the routine work was continuing when officials received three threatening calls from unknown numbers, who stated that the aforementioned building would be blown up. After that a search operation was carried out and both the building were cleared.

Federal Interior Minister, Senator A Rehman Malik while talking to the media said that the action against terrorist would continue as they do not fear threats .

He further said that the operation against Al-Qaida, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and TTP would continue, adding that Islam is the religion of peace and harmony. He stated that one to two threats in a week is a routine matter and he is not afraid of such threats.
