RAWALPINDI: The car driver responsible for tragic and horrendous car racing accident, Majid Nadeem has accepted his fault in committing the erroneous accident in the court proceedings.
The driver, Majid Naeem accepted his fault, in the court proceedings of District and sessions judge, Muhammad Iqbal Chuddar on Saturday, over the plea that the car went out of his control, causing loss of five precious lives.
The advocate of Atif Bin Arif, indicted in the car race case, Sardar Abdul Razzaq pleaded that his client was not guilty of the accident, and had been wrongly and falsely implicated in the case; as he was neither driving the racing car, nor was seated in the car that went out of control while participating in a car race held in Bahria Town, Rawalpindi.
The Judge after careful review of the case approved the pre-arrest interim bail of Atif Bin Arif, against a bond-guarantee of Rs.50, 000.
Meanwhile the judge also approved the pre-arrest interim bail of defendant Majid Naeem, the driver of the ill-fated car, until 14th Dec.
