LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif has suggested that the government should honestly spend the tax collected from the nation, added there should be billion of dollars in the national exchequer but there is few fund.
Addressing an inauguration ceremony of Ashina Housing Project Thursday, Nawaz noted that India was following Pakistani reforms when there was the PML-N government in the country.
He said that it is the responsibility of the government to provide facilities to taxpayers, adding that the government should honestly spend the tax for the welfare of the nation.
He termed Ashina housing project as good step of the government of Punjab and desired to build house for the poor in every city. He said that the building of the house for the poor has become very difficult due to price hike of construction materials.
The PML-N Quaid suggested the building of industrial zones in the province and setting up industry network to provide jobs to the people in rural areas.
Nawaz Sharif asked for launching efforts for providing of shelter to poor and asked to provide land for this purpose.
He noted the building of house has become dream for the poor, adding that the politic could be changed into worship with honesty.
