Campaign launched against no use of indicators by vehicles

ISLAMABAD: The inspector General, National Highways & Motorway Police has directed the senior police officers of NH&MP to emphasized to control the vehicles particularly PSV vehicles for not using proper indicators for turning or lane changing.

According to press released issued here on Thursday, he said that lane and line discipline must be ensured and also ordered that the heavy vehicles be strictly ensured to use the first lane.

On the directions of IG NH&MP a special campaign have been launched and tickets are being issued to all vehicles, which do not use proper indicators. He also passed numerous directions for the betterness of patrolling and safety of Road Users/Commuters. He issued different directions to the zonal commanders to control and take strict action against the vehicles, which are involved in violation of non-use of indicators.
