Addressing the convocation renowned scientist Dr Abdul Qadir Khan has said terrorists want to destabilize the country and we have to wage a joint war against terrorists.

He said that students play an important role in the progress of the country, it is knowledge that enables man to recognize God , it is knowledge that makes a person accomplish any thing.

Dr Khan said private schools have played a very important role in dispersion of education and today education seems to be spreading.

On this occasion federal minister for education Sardar Asif Ahmed Ali Khan said that students are the essence of the progress of any country , its education which can help in prevailing peace .

He further said that Pakistan has been fighting terrorism for the past three years, in order to save the country we have to have tolerance along with education.

Terrorists who were behind the killings of innocent people in Swat , Data Durbar, Rehman Bala in Peshawar and Shah Abdullah Ghazi in Karachi had no educational background. Terrorists want to divide the country, we have to work together in fighting terrorism and we shall win this war.

On this occasion gold medals and degrees were distributed amongst the BA, Bsc and master level students of the MAJU.
