ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Wednesday called on President Asif Ali Zardari at presidency and exchanged views about country’s situation and the reveals of WikiLeaks about Pakistan.
According to official sources, President Zardari took Prime Minister into confidence about his recent visit of Sri Lanka and termed his visit as successful.
During the meeting, Gilani consulted with Zardari about his upcoming visit of Afghanistan, the two leaders also discussed the disclosure of documents of WikiLeaks.
The President and Prime Minister expressed their reservations over WikiLeaks’ reveals and made it clear that Pakistan never compromised over its national interest and no one be allowed to interfere its internal affairs.
Zardari and Gilani also discussed the efforts for bringing back dissented party’s leaders.
The President congratulated the Prime Minister over the unanimous approval of the transfer of five ministries to the provinces under the 18th amendment and termed it as great success of the PPP government.
