ISLAMABAD: US President Barack Hussain Obama has canceled his decision regarding short stopover in Pakistan after not getting security clearance from Pakistani and US intelligence departments. However, the US president flown to India, passing Pakistani air space.
Sources said that high officials of United States delivered message to Pakistani leadership that President Barack Hussain Obama could take short stopover in Pakistan as good will gesture. It was plan that US president by holding meeting with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari at Chaklala Airbase would left for India. However after two incidents of terrorism in Peshawar, the provincial metropolis of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, the security team of President Obama after consultation of Pakistani intelligence departments changed the decision of short stopover in Pakistan. The security at Chaklala Airbase was on high alert due to expected visit of the US president.
