Obama to meet Zardari during a stop over in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: US President Obama during his stop over stay at Chaklala air base Friday evening on his way to India will meet President Asif Ali Zardari and will take the latter into confidence about his visit to India.

Official sources say on Friday that Pakistani leadership had been informed about president Obama stop over while president Asif Ali Zardari would receive the former.

Meeting between both the leaders would take place in VIP lounge at Chaklala airbase. President Obama would take on board President Asif Ali Zardari on the issues focusing on relations between Pakistan and India he would discuss with Indian leadership. President Obama would leave for India from Chaklala airbase.

It may be recalled that President Obama has embarked upon his visit to Asian countries. However his meeting with Pakistani leadership during the stop over ahead of his visit to India is being attached enormous importance.

Sources told President Obama stop over in Pakistan on his way to India is a message of good will for people and government of Pakistan as he would undertake official visit of Pakistan next year.
