ISLAMABAD: Minister for housing and development Rehmat Ullah Kakar informed the National Assembly that so far 50.37 million Rupees have been spent on the renovation and decoration of the Prime Minister House ,while during this period RS 20.38 million have been spent on the Prime Minister Secretariat for the same purpose.
During the session of the National Assembly on Tuesday the Minister for housing and development informed that from march 2008 till to date an amount of RS 50.37 million has been spent on the up keep and renovation of the Prime Minister house .
In the last trimester of the financial year 2007-2008 from March till June 2008 a sum of RS 10.18 million have been spent, while a sum of RS 10.42 million has been spent in the financial year 2008-2009.
A total of Rs 0.17 million has been spent in the current fiscal year so far so the same purpose , hence from march 2008 till to date Rs 20.38 million spent on the Prime Minister Secretariat for renovation and decoration purposes.
Answering to a question Rehmat Ullah Kakar said in Islamabad around 409 government houses have been allotted out of turn, he further informed the session that FBE housing foundation has allotted plots to 11 journalists.
