ISLAMABAD: Lin Homer, Chief Executive of the UK Border Agency reiterated the UK’s commitment to providing Pakistanis with a first class visa service.

She made these comments as she attended the formal opening of a new Premium Lounge service for visa applicants in the Gerry’s International Visa Application Centre in Lahore the other day.

On the opening of the centre Lin Homer said: “We are committed to providing a first class visa service to our highly valued customers in Pakistan. We have made significant improvements to customer service over the last 12 months, with turnaround times now within our global targets (5-15 days for all non-settlement applications.

As part of our commitment to drive up customer service, I am pleased to be able to open Gerry’s second Premium Lounge in Pakistan.

The Gerry’s Premium Lounge is a dedicated and convenient facility for UK visa applicants, which provides a high quality, personalized service for the submission of applications for visa processing.”
Lin Homer also took the opportunity to take a tour of the centre, thanking staff for their hard work, before unveiling a commemorative plaque in honour of the occasion.
