15 % Medical allowances of grade 16 to 22 withdrawn

PESHAWAR: The Provincial government of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa (KPK) has withdrawn 15% Medical allowances of Grade 16 to 22 officers on Saturday after the objection of bureaucracy.

According to the details, in current year budget the federal government has announced the increase of 15% medical allowance for government employees of four Provinces of Pakistan for which annually Rs 12 billion were required.

In this connection provincial government has decided to allocate Rs 12 billions funds for health and other developments projects for this purpose provincial government has decided to suspend medical allowances of employees from grade 16 to 22.
