Snowfall in upper reaches of Kashmir valley

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, warm and woolen clothes are out in the Kashmir Valley, where the upper reaches experienced light to moderate snowfall while plains received light rains.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the cloudy weather, accompanied by light rainfall forced the people in the plains, including in Srinagar, to wear warm and woolen clothes while moderate snowfall on upper reaches including Sheshnag, Mahaguns, Pisso top and Panjtarni on Pahalgam resulted in considerable cold in the plains.

”We can see light snowfall on the heights,” a hotel owner told media men over phone from Pahalgam.
