ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Snooker team will participate in the world snooker championship in December of this year, being organized by International Snooker Federation.

According to the details, IBSF world snooker championship would be played in the Syria capital Damascus and three Pakistani players including Imran Shahzad, Sohail Shahzad and Mohammad Sajjad will also participate in championship.

Two qualified players of national championship Imran Shahzad and Sohail Shahzad got direct entry in world championship and Mohammad Sajjad will participate in the tournament as runner-up of Asian Snooker Championship.
