PPP has no future: Pir Pagara

KARACHI: PML-F chief Pir of Pagara has said PPP has no future adding PPP no more exists now but it stands as parliamentarian party.

He said this while talking to media men after his meeting with a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League (Pervez Musharraf group) led by its convener Chaudhry Shahbaz here Wednesday at Kangri house.

He went on to say that President Asif Ali Zardari will remain as Zardari now adding whosoever politician in the country is left will join Muslim League. All the factions of Muslim League will be reunified and then formal announcement for launching All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) will be made, he told.

The doors of APML are open to every one, he held. APML general council can elect Pervez Musharraf as president of AMPL if it wills so, he added. Pervez Musharraf is not coming to Pakistan to become the president of country, he said. A general who retires has no future, he added. When Pervez Musharraf will be member of APML then his future will be bright, he maintained.

Pir Pagara said Muslim League does not care for who joins reunification of PML factions, he remarked. “If some one comes we will welcome and if he does not come it is upto his discretion”, he added.

Responding to a question about sailing in two boats he said this is such a work of wonder which has no downfall.

Pir Pagara said when Bilawal Zardari was borne then he had said that Bilawal would be Muslim Leaguer. Now Bilawal would be secretary of Muslim Leaguers like his grandfather who was in Muslim League, he held.

Replying to a question spiritual leader of Hurrs Pir of Pagara said government is destined to go, either it goes today or tomorrow it makes no difference.

“I asked Yousuf Raza Gilani to join PPP due to attitude of Nawaz Sharif, he said adding but he joined the ranks of imprudent people. Sending him there was my mistake, he added.

To a question Pir Pagara said he was not able to move. “ If general Kayani comes to meet me I will meet him but I will not go to airport to welcome him.

He said army caused split in Muslim League, therefore, how could we sit with GHQ. APML is not being formed at behest of GHQ, he added.

Answering to a question he said it is upto Nawaz Sharif if he joins unified Muslim League or not. But it is very clear that future of every Muslim Leaguer is bright, he underlined.

“I will not give any guarantee about removal of impediments on his way back to Pakistan in regard to Pervez Musharraf. Now Pervez Musharraf has to think about it if he has to face the courts or otherwise, he added.

To another question he said “ I don’t know MQM will remain as MQM but it will also turn into Muslim league and only two things will be left in the country army and Muslim League.

All have suffered during floods in Sindh due to PPP government, he alleged.
