Islamabad district court receives written bombing threat

ISLAMABAD: A Judge of Islamabad district court has received a threatening letter on Wednesday in which it has written that the district court will be bombed on Thursday.
According to details district and session judge Chaudhry Mazhar Majeed has received an unnamed letter in which un-known person have threatened that they will blow the district court apart on Thursday.
Taking the threat as serious, the District & Sessions’ judge summoned a judges’ meeting, in which strict measures were directed for the security of the Kutchery premises.
The secretary general of the District Bar Association (DBA) also directed lawyers to render their full cooperation to law enforcement agencies in this regard.
