Federal Govt bans Mobile services in DI.Khan, southern District

PESHAWAR: Federal Government has refused to allow Mobile service in Southern districts of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa.

The mobile services in DI Kahn and southern districts were banned one year back due to the threat of terrorism.

People engaged with mobile business had appealed to the Federal and Provincial government to restart the mobile service immediately so that the problems of the citizens could be solved.
However federal government refused this appeal after consulting with intelligence agencies. According to the agencies act of terrorism could be restarted after lifting ban from Mobile services, federal government has informed to the provincial government about the decision.

Two thousand people are affected in the southern districts because of this ban on mobile service and people who have been engaged with this business become jobless in these areas.
