PCB asks ICC to end cricket series: Ejaz

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ejaz Butt has asserted that the allegations made by International Cricket Council (ICC) and British media regarding fixing of third one day played at Oval were completely baseless and they were taking legal action.

In an interview Ejaz claimed that they had been investigating the issue and soon the facts would reach to people in this connection; adding we have been taking advice of the leading legal experts for initiating action against the responsible. He neither said ICC Chief Executive Harvon Logart had neither provided any proof of match fixing nor told anything to ICC or us.

The British media is biased he lambasted adding we had asked ICC to wind up the series. We will not allow any conspiracy to malign the National Team Butt concluded.
