Happy to leave if Parliament wants: PM

LAHORE: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said there is no problem if any change emerged from the parliament and feared that a non-political change would harm the country.

Talking to the media reporters at his residence here on Sunday, the PM said if any politician from the parliament shows intention to come forward and lead, he would get aside comfortably. He reiterated the need for democratic system to reign, adding his party is following conciliatory politics and there is not a single political prisoner in their regime.

PM said he would get pleased if Nawaz Sharif sits in the Parliament and rendered his democratic role. PM, on this occasion, clarified that all the matters are under control and there is no change about to come. He said that no hindrance would be tolerated in the way of the rehabilitation of the flood hit people and asked the people talking about change to endure two million flood affected people.
