Two Eids again as Shawwal moon not sighted anywhere except Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa

Karachi/Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa: The central moon sighting committee on Thursday announced that Shawwal moon was not sighted in any part of the country and Eidul Fitr would be celebrated on Saturday whereas Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa announced that Shawwal moon was sighted in the province and that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the province on Friday.

According to details the Chairman, Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman has said that no authentic evidence of moon sighting had been received from any part of the country so Eidul Fitr will be celebrated all over Pakistan on Saturday, 11 September, 2010.

On the other hand Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has announced Eidul Fitr on Friday by saynig that 19 authentic evidences were received, confirming the sighting of Shawwal moon.
