Islamabad: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani has presented a copy of Holy Quran to the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie who met him at Prime Minister House on Wednesday evening.

Angelina Jolie who arrived in Pakistan with her delegation to draw world attention towards the plight of 21 million people affected by the country’s worst-ever floods.

During the meeting Angelina expressed grief over the plight of condition of the people affected by the flood. She also assured that she will try her best to request international community to increase the donation amount for the affectees.

The Prime Minister thanks Angelina for visiting and remembering the people of Pakistan in the crisis situation.

This is the fourth visit by Jolie to Pakistan since she became a UNHCR goodwill ambassador in 2001.
