Lahore: Angry mob received Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Ijaz Butt, chanting slogans at full throat “shame, shame” at Lahore international airport when he returned from London Wednesday night.

Talking to media on the occasion at airport he said “cricketers are innocent till allegation proves; adding players have been interrogated for 9 hours however the allegation are from a tabloid and not from Scotland Yard”.

PCB had given reply in detail on the issue but International Cricket council (ICC) has said the players should file the reply by themselves he maintained. Scotland Yard also conducted thorough search in the room of players he held.

“Action will come”, Butt vowed, “if a player convicts”. Responding a question decision to sue News of The World will be taken on right time. ICC had suspended players temporarily he claimed.

The airport security hastened to escort out the Chairman as the mob was very resentful on the performance of Cricket Board and hurling slogan of hate on the chairman.
