3 prime accused in Sialkot lynching remanded to police custody for 3 days

Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Gujranwala has given 19 accused including SHO Rana Ilyas and constable Mabarak to police custody for 3 days physical remand in 2 brothers lynching case in Sialkot;

According to private TV channel, Rana Ilyas and constable Mubarik prime accused in 2 brothers lynching case and 17 others were presented in ATC led by judge Rana Nisar Ahmad Monday. The court reprimanded the police for covering the faces of the accused persons.

The court inquired from the government counsel if he took into possession the trolley on which the dead bodies were paraded adding if the police vehicle which was being driven along with the trolley was also taken into custody. If the arms were recovered from the police personnel, court asked.

Government counsel told these all things were being recovered. Therefore, remand of the accused persons for three days more be given to us in this connection, government counsel requested.

The learned judge directed the investigation officers to present police inquiry report on the next hearing.
