Sialkot killing:brothers found innocent, CJ summons accused cops

The two brothers, who were brutally killed by a mob in Sialkot last month, are found to be innocent, said a report filed by Justice (r) Kazim Malik who headed the inquiry commission set up in this respect.

According to media reports Justice Kazim requested to the apex court to get the bodies of both the brothers exhumed for autopsy.

Earlier, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry remarked that the footage shown on private TV channel is in itself an evidence. The CJ ordered the police to arrest the cops who escaped and produce them before the court today (Thursday).

The CJ also ordered further investigation into the incident. The report also confirmed police’s involvement in the gruesome lynching.
