Unknown armed men here killed Provincial President People Party-Sherpao Ghulam Mustafa Surani on Wednesday.

According to media reports, some unknown armed men opened indiscriminate firing at Ghulam Mustafa Surani while he was sitting in Surab Bazaar. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to injuries and died. Soon after the incident the police put cordon in the area and started search.

According to eyewitness two armed men opened firing at Ghulam Mustafa when he was sitting outside the shop in Surab Bazaar.

The incident created panic in the area.

After the incident workers of PPP Sherpao protested in the hospital and shouted slogans against the government.

Investigation has been launched into the incident
