MQM files adjournment, privilege motions against PML-N leadership

Deputy Convener Muttahida Qaumi Movement Dr Farooq Sattar said, MQM has filed two motion including a adjournment motion and a privilege motion against PML-N in the parliament’s secretariat that why did PML-N leadership kept the nation in darkness about their exile agreement and held secret meetings with military chief.

Talking to media here on Wednesday, Sattar stated that PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif had kept the nation in darkness for seven years regarding his exile agreement from Attock jail to Saudi Arabia and the nation should be apprised with the facts under which he was allowed to go abroad.

MQM deputy convener stated that the nation should be informed that how did penalty of ‘Sharif-Brethren’ was forgiven and why did PML-N chief conceal the exile-agreement from the nation and disclosed later that exile-agreement was signed for only five years added that false statements from PML-N chief had dishonored the nation and democratic institutions.

He said that the second (Adjournment) motion has been filed against meeting of PML-N leadership with Army chief that as in accordance of Charter of Democracy (CoD) political leadership can’t hold secret meetings with military then why did Shahbaz Sharif and Ch Nisar Ali Khan held secret meetings with military chief and why did PML-N led Punjab Government didn’t take immediate action over lynching of two brothers in Sialkot.

Nation should be apprised with these secrets that how did a chartered plane carrying Nawaz Sharif from Attock jail to Jeddah and who had broker this exile agreement and PML-N chief after seven years admitted the exile agreement that it was signed for five years, Sattar said.

He also informed that similar motions would also be filed in Senate tomorrow added that the both the motions have been filed today (Wednesday) in Parliament’s secretariat with signatures of 25 parliamentarians.
