Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani has stressed the industrialists and traders’ community to come forward to aid the flood hit people, which is need of the hour.
According to media reports, COAS during his visit to Sindh met with industrialists and traders fraternity of Karachi and urged them to effectively play their role for rehabilitation of the flood affected people.
General Kayani said that today as a nation we need a national spirit and unity, adding the army along with the government is playing its duty for rescuing the flood hit people, however resources are lesser than the challenges.
All the four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir were affected by the torrent floods and in such crucial time traders fraternity will have to come forward to work for the affected people. Traders and Industrialists assured their support to the COAS in this regard.
