PML-N Quaid, Mian Nawaz Sharif has telephoned to Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and expressed severe reservations in the delay of establishment of commission for collecting funds used for the flood affected people.
He said that the miseries of affectees are increasing by the delay of commission.
PML-N sources said that Mian Nawaz Sharif asked the prime minister about hurdles in the establishment of independent commission, which would raise funds and donations from inside and overseas of the country. Prime Minister replying the query stated that the conversation in this regard is underway with the proposed members and allied parties. However the PM had not given any final date for the establishment of concerned commission.
Mian Nawaz Sharif stated at the occasion said that this time is not for point scoring and the government should implement over his proposal with devotedly as delay in the formation is creating doubts on the government.
The PM assured him that all the amount in the head of compensation would be used for the flood affectees and no negligence would be spared in this regard. He said that first priority is to assist the affectees, however aid of international community is also need of the hour to combat the challenges.
