Govt busy in photo sessions rather than helping out flood stricken people : Imran Khan

Chief Tehrik Insaf Imran khan said he would launch fund raising for the flood affectees on international horizon through telethon.

He was addressing a press conference here on Thursday. The unprecedented flood has brought one-fifth population in the open skies without shelter, food and medicine he maintained adding the gigantic task needs lion effort to pull out the masses from gloom.

Tehrik will set on this campaign in collaboration with MKRF he said adding our drive will consist of two phases “short term measures” and “long term”. The electronic media will fully be utilized to reach masses he apprised hoping “the oversee Pakistanis will place major input”.

Imran said he would leave for the affected areas on 28th August with trucks in large number loaded with relief goods for distribution among the populace. This all was being done on self-help basis he added.

Government was busy in photo sessions instead of helping the flood stricken he deplored. He called upon the Nation to join in the hour of trail to avert the mega tragedy.
