Pakistan Muslim League ‘N’ chief Mian Nawaz Sharif has urged President Asif Ali Zardari to cancel his visit of Britain adding the statement of David Cameroon has injured sentiments of Pakistani Nation.
He was talking to media after visiting flood-affected areas in Nowshera. “The visit to Britain will be a disrespect to Pakistan,” he maintained. He said, “I have come to help the calamity stricken brothers”. He urged on all political parties to help the flood affectees, rising above the politics.
The government should mobilize all resources at this occasion he held, adding Punjab has provided medicines and food for the affectees. He was of the opinions that instead of looking for help beyond the borders we should rely on our own resources.
Responding a question he said the statement of David Cameron has injured our sentiments therefore the President’s visit at this hour was uncalled for adding the Britain’s PM should also be mindful before issuing statements that Pakistan had rendered sacrifices above all other nations.
The people of UK are well aware of sacrifices of Pakistanis therefore they did not share what Cameroon has said, he opined.
