AJK PM decides to resign

Prime Minister Azad Kashmir, Raja Farooq Haider has decided to resign from his post and the final announcement would be made after arrival of Nawaz Sharif, reported a private TV channel while quoting his closed aide.

According to a private TV channel, the voting on non-confidence move was to be held today (Tuesday), however, Raja Farooq Haider decided to resign before voting on the move.

According to the constitution of Azad Kashmir, after the resignation of PM, the selection is must within 14 days and till than Raja Farooq Haider would assume the post of Acting PM.

Sources said that there are possibilities that AJK PM announced his resignation to block non-confidence move against him aimed to solve the issues from outside.

AJK PM, Raja Farooq Haider while talking to a private TV channel, however, said that no final decision regarding his resignation has been taken and several options are being considered to tackle the situation.

Responding to a question, AJK PM said that the final decision would be taken after the arrival of Quaid Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

AJK PM said that the Muslim Conference has no political future as Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan has severely damaged the party.

Strongly criticizing Sardar Attique, AJK PM said that he (Attique) has no ethics and morals and just interested in his personal objectives.

Answering to another question regarding resignations tendered by ministers, AJK PM expressed the hope that they would review their decisions.
