Spokesperson of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, Ahsan Iqbal has said that PML-N was not taken on board regarding extension in service of Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Ahsan Iqbal said that they would formulate a policy on return of their party chief, Mian Nawaz Sharif. He said that non-implementation over the decisions of judiciary against corruption could harm the democracy.
He said that the government is creating hurdles in passage of accountability bill, which was drafted unanimously against corruption, adding his party has clear stance over degree issue. Commenting over the increasing incidents of target killing, he stated that the involved persons should be revealed and dealt with iron hands.
PML-N leader opined that the government is moving forward with non-issues and shifting the attention from masses problems. He vowed that his party would not withdraw its stance regarding Punjab Bank and Harris Steel Mills case and involved persons would be brought before the nation.
He said that the agriculture sector and industries were destroyed by the loadshedding and government could not overcome on the electric crises. He stated that Mian Shahbaz Sharif several times wrote letters to federal government regarding sugar crises in the month of Ramdan but no action has been taken as yet.
