Hajj balloting to be held on August 11

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi said Hajj balloting would be held on August 11 to decide 80 thousands fateful who would be blessed with opportunity of pilgrimage. The government would ensure all facilities for the pilgrims.

He was talking to media and the participants of family summer camp here at National Press Club. He said, “terrorism has deprived citizens of peace of mind therefore people should cooperate with the government to eradicate this menace. He also announced quota for the journalists on this occasion and said that 3 journalists would be sent on Hajj and their names would be decided through balloting under the supervision of secretary ministry of religious affairs.

PIMS head of Neuro-surgery Dr Khaliq uz Zaman said on the occasion that simple diet; complete sleep and exercise were defence against diseases. Lack of vitamins impairs growth of mind. The cousin marriage should be discouraged for healthy offerings as well as females should avoid medicines during pregnancy. He also shared that headache in children in the morning was dangerous and doctors be consulted immediately in this regard. .

It was second day of summer camp being held in collaboration with Dew Herbal Medicine and Roomi Cosmetics.
