Work on Zero Point Interchange in doldrums

The construction company has stopped its on going work on ‘Zero Point Interchange’ for indefinite period due to unavailability of funds here on Wednesday, said sources.

As per details, government had awarded a contract to a private company for the construction of Zero Point interchange to ensure the smooth flow of traffic. While the formal inauguration of this grand project was on August 14, 2010, now which is being seen as impossible.

However, sources said that the construction company has stopped its work due to unavailability of funds, as the company besides purchasing raw material for construction has to pay the remuneration to its workers, therefore, they cannot continue its work.
