An aircraft carrying Balochistan Chief Minister, Nawab Aslam Raisani and other high officials narrowly escaped an accident and made an emergency landing at Quetta Airport.

According to media reports, after taking off, one engine of the aircraft caught fire and the plane made emergency landing at the airport.

According to media reports while quoting sources of Airport, the incident occurred at 2:05pm and all passengers in the plane were safe.

Chief Minister with other high officials including Provincial Finance Minister, Mir Muhammad Asim Kurd and Chief Secretary was going to Islamabad from Quetta to attend a special meeting.
