US media reports citing a defence observer said Mollah Omar, Afghan Taliban leader, has been arrested.

Col. North wrote in his blog Mullah Omar was arrested on March 27 in Karachi. An intelligence Agency of Pakistan arrested him and being kept in custody an undisclosed place, he said.

He claimed that Pakistani sources have confirmed the report, while the media reports said that the US officials neither confirm or deny the report.
