No compromise on country’s defense: COAS

General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Chief of Army Staff, along with General officers from GHQ visited Air Headquarters on Monday to attend the analysis and discussion of joint exercise High Mark-2010 and Azm-e-Nau-3.

On arrival, the COAS was received by Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The session was also attended by Principal Staff Officers of PAF.

Expressing deep satisfaction over the efficient and safe conduct of the biggest ever PAF-Pak Army joint exercise, General Kayani appreciated the vital role played by PAF in all facets of the exercise, and hoped to further enhance the spirit of jointness in future operations.

In response, Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman assured COAS of PAF’s unflinching resolve to extend all-out support to Pak Army towards the achievement of common national objectives, including the ongoing anti-terrorist operations.

According to Sources, both the Heads of the Armed Forces again made it clear that no compromise will made on country’s defense adding Pakistan Army stands like a rock with PAF urging no stone will be left unturned to ensure country’s defence.

The Armed Forces will safeguard every inch of the country hoping to further enhance the spirit of jointness in future operations and operational preparedness in this regard.
