6 injured as plane slips at Parachanar Airport

Six people including pilot of a small passenger plane were injured when the plane skidded on Parachanar Airport in Khurram Agency while landing.

According to a private TV channel, the plane was flying to Peshawar to Parachanar when it skidded on the runway. Pilot of the plane identified as Imran and five other passengers were injured in the incident.

The local administration has shifted the injured to the Parachanar Tehsil Headquarter Hospital. According to Airport officials, the debris of the plane has been removed from the scene.

The people use small plane to travel between Peshawar and Parachannar due to the closure of the road.
