Google also blocked in Pakistan

After the blockage of Facebook and Youtube, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has now blocked one of the most visited search engine of Pakistan Google.

By blocking Google in Pakistan, the internet user will now unable to get access to Gmail, Orkut and other website that are owned by Google company.

According to one of the ISP’s representative, the action has been taken because Google also have some blasphemous links that can be searched easily

“It will remain block until links that refer a person to blasphemous websites, were not being removed from this site” he added.

The Pakistani authorities have already blocked Facebook and Youtube over uploading blasphemous content about Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) on their site and Google is the third site that has formally being blocked by the authorities.
